When I moved to Milwaukee in 2001, I did not know a soul.
It’s now twenty years later
and I have been witness to,
and in relationship with,
the powerful breaking forth of innumerable souls doing transformative work throughout this city.
Like the cycle of growth and beauty that is erupting
through pain and suffering in this mural,
we are each needed to do our part…
to embody and share the fullness of our selves…
to bring Milwaukee, and the beautiful souls who live here,
to growth, beauty, and healing.
